Los Altos Historic Farmhouse

This grand historic craftsman farmhouse originally faced the main road, but suburban development had left it perpendicular to the current lot. We lifted the house up, moved it to the back yard, removed the old foundation, and built a new, full-height basement facing the front of the property. Once the below-grade was complete we turned the original home and placed it on the new basement foundation. An addition and whole house remodel upgraded all systems to state-of-the-art technology while preserving historic design elements throughout from wood paneling to custom rafter tails.
